JUNE
We're in the full swing of summer semester which means deep-cleans and writing zines! Just a few quick updates for you today...
First things first:
We are once again asking you to take our stuff please! As we continue to clean out the lab, anything except for the rug currently on the porch is up for grabs - assorted e-waste, some old books, a wobbly vacuum, a printer of dubious function, a broken CRT monitor. Any of it could be yours! Everything that's left goes to CHaRM next Monday (June 8).

Second things second:
We're really excited to say we have 3 booklets in various states of production, and we'll be doing little events around each one as they're finished. First up we'll be having a release party/evening open house from 4:30-7:30 on July 16th for the launch of Jazmyn Crosby's Interspecies Communication Operations Manual. Watch this space for more info on our quest to repair our Apple Lisa in zine form, and a guide to making your own Barbed Wire Fence Phone.

We're also continuing our weekly CYBERDECK meetups - every Wednesday from 1-3! Bring your lunch, bring something you're working on, come chill in the pleasantly cool MAL basement hangout. Our definition of cyberdeck is expansive and has already been stretched to include repairs to children's toys from the early 1990s and modifications to a magic lantern from the 1890s, so we're certain you'll fit right in.

Hours over the summer are still limited, but we hope to see you if you're able!
